What does the career path of a lawyer who becomes a key advisor to the financial sector look like? The story of Joanna Olechowska-Pucułek, Counsel at Lawspective, is the perfect answer.
When Joanna joined us in 2017, she quickly realized that her ambitions reached far beyond solving day-to-day legal issues. She was looking for challenges in a more complex and demanding field. As she herself puts it: “I like challenges. I’m drawn to non-standard and difficult matters.” This drive led her straight into the world of intricate financial regulations and transactions.
Today, as Head of the Financial Institutions Department, Joanna:
- provides comprehensive regulatory and transactional advice to banks, factoring companies, and other key market players,
- successfully leads compliance projects in response to legal changes (including AML and payment services),
- designs and implements the structures of complex financing transactions, creating advanced legal documentation to support them.
Joanna’s story perfectly reflects our philosophy. At Lawspective, we support initiative and create space for building one’s own expert path. We are proud that #TeamLawspective is made up of people who take responsibility for developing entire areas of practice.
